Before Your Course

Your EverydayClimbing instructor will be in touch one to two days before your course commences.  This pre-course contact serves to introduce your instructor, confirm meeting details, and provide insight into the expected weather conditions. Our instructor are readily available to address any queries you may have, ensuring you're well-prepared for your upcoming adventure.

Our small team are devoted to introducing you to the finest 3-star mountaineering routes Scotland has to offer. Our commitment to your safety and success is unwavering, and we're always eager to explore your unique objectives, whether they lead us to the Highlands, Islands, or any other region in Scotland.

Imagine mountains soaring directly from the sea, their ancient rock facades adorned with graceful sweeping crests and formidable snow-filled gullies. In the West Highlands, you'll find intricate networks of narrow aretes, while in Lochnagar, grand amphitheaters conceal hidden clefts. All these treasures await your exploration in the Scottish Highlands.

We offer instruction and guiding on all of Scotland's iconic and winter mountaineering routes, ranging from the easy and accessible to the incredibly challenging and remote.

We specialise in organising climbing, scrambling, or mountaineering guides for any route in the Scottish Highlands or islands. Dates

There is generally always something in condition in Scotland in winter and a course can be scheduled on any day that suits your plans. Reach out to discuss your specific requirements or contact us using the form below.

Prices

Our prices are comprehensive and cover the following:

  • Information and support prior to the course
  • An AMI accredited, insured, and fully qualified guide
  • Professional-grade climbing equipment for each participant
  • Mountain safety gear
  • Memorable photos of your adventure

One person - £300 per day 

Two people - £350 (£175 per person) per day

Is this for me?

Our courses are tailored to your preferences, your goals, and your level of experience. Our skilled instructors prioritise your safety, guiding you as we access the route, leading pitches, managing belay stances, and ensuring your protection during abseils or descents.

We offer coaching and instruction based on your needs, assisting you in accessing and climbing your chosen routes. Additionally, we can provide physical assistance during the most challenging sections if required. When you book, we'll engage with you to discuss your background and aspirations, ensuring that your chosen route aligns with your abilities and if necessary, we can suggest an appropriate route that provides the right level of challenge for you.

• 35-45l backpack

• B2/B3 Winter mountain boots (Can be rented locally)

• Gaiters

• Ski Goggles

• Walking poles

• Emergency shelter (Orange bag)

• Water bottle (around 1 litre) or hot drink flask

• Food and extra food (min. 1000cals.)

• Head torch and spare batteries 

• Thick socks

• Waterproof jacket and trousers 

• Thin fleece or light insulated jacket

• Thick fleece or mid insulated jacket

• Thick insulated jacket

• Warm hat

• Buff

• 2-3x Pairs winter gloves

• Hiking trousers

• Synthetic/merino base layers

• Personal medication

• Waterproof stuff sacks for everything

• OS maps of planned areas

To guarantee your comfort and security throughout our activities, we strongly advise all participants to come prepared with the complete equipment listed. While our activities may proceed even if participants do not have the entire kit list, please be aware that EverydayClimbing and our instructors retain the right to modify the itinerary or conclude the activity early should the absence of essential equipment pose an elevated risk to the group, exceeding acceptable safety standards.
