During this five day tour, we'll explore five different venues across the country, discovering the very best atmospheric gullies, technical buttresses, and scenic ridges that Scotland has to offer.

Before Your Course

Your EverydayClimbing mountain guide will be in touch one to two days before your course commences.  This pre-course contact serves to introduce your guide, confirm meeting details, and provide insight into the expected weather conditions. Our guides are readily available to address any queries you may have, ensuring you're well-prepared for your upcoming adventure.

About the tour

Our 'best of' tours are customised to your individual experience and aspirations, crafting a flexible itinerary that takes you to premier locations hunting for optimal conditions. In the weeks leading up to the course, we assist you in selecting routes, organising accommodation, and coordinating transportation. Throughout the climbing course, our experienced guides will accompany you daily, leading you on unforgettable routes across Scotland.

Exploring iconic locations like Glencoe, Ben Nevis, The West, Central & North-West Highlands, the Northern and Southern Cairngorms, and Skye, each with its distinct rock type, climbing style, and renowned ice routes.

These courses are entirely flexible and can be as brief or extensive as you desire. The week's objectives may include exploring remote locations, conquering celebrated classics, searching for ice or mixed routes, honing your skills, tackling a series of ridges, and much more.

Is this for me?

Scotland offers a wide range of climbing experiences, from easy and accessible routes to extremely demanding adventures that require an excellent level of fitness for the approach and return. It's an equally excellent place for complete beginners to take their first steps in using crampons or for experienced climbers to push their grade.

You don't need any prior climbing experience to enjoy climbing here. We can provide all the instruction and guidance you need to tackle your very first route. And if you already have some climbing skills, we can assist you in taking on even more challenging lines.

Our team of instructors has extensive experience exploring the Scottish Highlands in winter and we'll be right by your side, providing support, safety, and motivation throughout your journey.

• B2/B3 Winter mountain boots (Available to rent locally)

While our activities may proceed even if participants do not have the entire kit list, please be aware that EverydayClimbing and our instructors retain the right to modify the itinerary or conclude the activity early should the absence of essential equipment pose an elevated risk to the group, exceeding acceptable safety standards.
